Motor Mounts on a '78 SC with an '87 3.2 liter

Model: 911 SC, Year:1978, Mileage:135M, Type of use:Track use only
Chris Powell recently provided a helpful response to a question I had about replacing the motor mounts on my car. Now that I've had a look at the current mounts, it appears they're made by German and carry a part # that indicates they were standard mounts on '83 - '89 911/911 Turbos (911.375.043.07). The previous owner must have upgraded the original SC mounts when he replaced the 3.0 liter in 2004 with a 3.2 liter from an '87 Carrera - I estimate the car has 250+ track days, since. My interest in changing the mounts is due to some shifting difficulties I've been having with the WEVO shifter in the car, particularly going from 4th to 5th, or from 3rd to 4th (car is used exclusively for DEs). I thought new mounts might help with this and am considering WEVO semi solid mounts ("blue pillows"). The German mounts don't appear to be worn, though I'm not certain I know what to look for. I don't want to fix something that may not be broken in the first place, but, given the # of track days since they were intalled, it could be time to replace them, anyway? Any thoughts or recommendations?
