I am in the process of replacing my shocks and would like to know your opinion of Bilstein and Koni. I want to purchase a shock that will not make my car ride like a rock (stiffness). A friend of mine bought a set of Konis and told me that he had to set them on soft for his 356, otherwise the ride was extremely rough. I know that if I buy the Koni I can adjust them to soft for ride. The place that I buy most of my parts from are pushing Bilstein and telling me what a great shock it is. I noticed that the Bilstein shock does not have an adjustment for ride. Please tell me what you think - as far as which one to purchase in relation to good shock and decent ride.
