Noxious Gases in Cabin

Heating and Ventilation

Vehicle Information: Model : Cayenne S; Year: 2003; Mileage: 9000;

We have been assaulted by noxious gases in the Cayenne cabin for the last month. We were first told that is was cosmoline that would burn off. Nine thousand miles later it's as bad as ever. The symptoms are headaches, dizziness, and burning eyes. Sometimes there is the "sweet" smell of coolant. At other times it smells like spray paint or even windshield washer fluid. While diagnosing the problem has proven difficult, my question is how are any of these gases entering the cabin of the vehicle? Is the air intake located where off-gassing can be induced into the cabin fresh air?
