Oil additives

Engine

I know there has been a lot of discussion lately about what types of oil to use. The EPA required all oil manufacturers to remove ZDDP from their formulas. I understand this can lead to premature valve train wear on some models. I noticed in the Eastwood catalog that there is a product called ZDDP plus that can be put in at each oil change to replace this missing additive. My question is whether it would be beneficial for me to use this product in a 1997 993? I know wear is more of an issue in cars with solid lifters than hydraulic ones. Since my car has hyraulic lifters there may be no benefit.
