Oil fill tube

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model (Boxster, Boxster S,Cayman, Cayman S): Boxster S; Year: 2000; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2L, stock; Total Mileage: 48,000; Transmission: Manual;

I recently had a cracked oil fill tube replaced by the dealer on my 2000 Boxster S. I initially found the problem when I drove the car after adding some oil (approx. 200mL), and shortly thereafter noticed a strong burning oil smell.In addition to replacing the tube, the dealer said they cleaned up the oil that leaked onto the engine using some sort of solvent, but that the smell will remain for some period of time until the oil (plus solvent) completely burns off.The car has been driven about 7 days since the repair was made, and the smell still appears when the car is stopped. How much time, approximately, should it take for the smell to go away?
