Oil leak where cooler and crankcase meet

Vehicle Information: Model: Carrera Convertible; Year: 1988; Body Type: Convertible; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 101000;

Hello Porsche brainiacs.Last Summer I purchased a beautiful 911 Convertible in California and much to her dismay I brought up to the Puget Sound. In return she has gifted me with a bit of an oil leak at the point where the cooler meets the crankcase. The oil actually drips right off one of the 2 lower bolts that connect the bottom hose. I hope I have drawn a definitive picture for you. I keep hearing about the thermostat seal up above or the oil pressure gauge seal but it really appears that the leak is coming right from the point down low where the cooler and crakcase come together and then drips down. I don't have any pressure issues, just a mess of the compartment down there. I have cleaned it up and can even send a picture if it helps.Thanks EverybodyBob
