This is a follow up to OIL LINE REPLACEMENT 04-06-2008.After considering the task of removing the oil lines from the thermostat Im considering cutting the tube at the crimp, and just replacing the flexible part of the line with a very durable hydraulic hose. Ive heard of others doing this. Any opinions or thoughts on the best way to do this? Where would be the best place to make the cuts? I really dont want to get involved in replacing the thermostat.
