The oil line that goes from the thermostat to the engine oil line has started to leak to the point of leaving oil on my garage floor so Ive decided to replace it with a new one. I figure I will also replace the sister line that goes from the thermostat to the oil tank, and the S hose that goes from the oil tank to the engine oil cooler (right front engine bank location). I understand to be prepared to heat the nuts on the thermostat. Are there any other things that I should be prepared for in this simple nut, and bolt operation? When I install the new lines should I use Teflon tape or antiseize compound?
