Oil for my 1984 - 911

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1984; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): original; Total Mileage: 56,000;

As I generally do my own oil changes spring and fall I have ended up with odd and end quarts. For the last 10 years or so I have used Kendall 10-40 winter , 15-40 summer/ winter, or 20-50 summer only. The car has 56,000 miles on it and has been driven sparingly the past 10 years. I do not track it and it uses no oil between changes. The book says as to the specs. it should be rated SF or SE. Since I have these loose quarts, I wanted to buy only the amount needed to do the change and make use of what I have on hand. ( Same weights). In buying that difference I find that the rating on the cans is SL,SJ, and SH. Any problem with that? As we know the manufactures change the wording on these items. It seems to make it confusing for us all. Thanks for your time. Martin Teeuwen
