Oil Tank Sensor Leak

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911SC; Year: 1978; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 60000;

I think I have narrowed a small oil leak down to the oil level sensor on the outside (wheel well side) of the oil tank. It looks like it is a metal sensor plate attached to the tank (5 bolts) with a gasket between it and the tank. The leak only occurs when the engine is warmed-up (oil level expanded in the tank), it is evident as an occasional drip from the bottom of the tank usually after a 1-2 hour drive. Does anyone know if I need to replace the sensor or just the gasket and where I might get just the gasket? Anyone else see this leak before? Should I just go ahead and replace both the gasket and the sensor plate? Any help would be appreciated. Rich1978 911 SCmember # 2004090741
