Oil usage

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1985; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 110664;

My car does not smoke and the compression test was 150psi on all cylinders. How does 150psi compare to a car with a lot less mileage. Also I use about 1 qt of oil every 1,000 miles, is that considered within the normal range. My owners manual says that these cars do burn oil.Thanks
