Oil Weight

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1986; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2 STock; Total Mileage: 73K;

I just changed the oil in my 911 and chose 5W30 thnking that a thinner weight would be better for the colder temperatures ahead. Is that weight too thin? I will be changing the oil in the Spring, irrespective of the mileage at that time. I expect to be driving the car a few times a week over the winter, weather permitting. The car will not be tracked or auto-crossed.Thanks for your help.
