Period-Correct Blapunkt Radio

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T Coupe (CIS); Year: 1973; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4 (CIS); Total Mileage: 125,030;

I'm looking to install a period-correct Blapunkt or Becker radio in my 1973 911T and end-up with a "factory" or "as delivered" install. I will be removing an '80's cassette deck and door-mounted speakers.I read the response for Blapunkt Radio/Amplifier dated 05/10/2007. From what I can tell the Blapunkt Frankfurt (108 mhz) fits my needs - is this correct or should I look at a different Blaupunkt model and/or a Becker as well? Regardless of brand, were the US cars delivered with the "LMKUU" push buttons or AM/FM buttons? Should the radio be installed with or without a face plate/escutcheon? Can you recomment a good speaker (and size) for mounting under the center-mounted speaker grill on the dash?Thanks in advance for your much appreciated input...
