Porsche winter storage

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Carrera; Year: 1988; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 52,000;

I live in Iowa and am preparing to store my 911 for the winter. I have secured an unheated garage for the car. My question is what would you recommend I do to keep mice and other rodents from seeking shelter either in the interior or in the undercarriage of the car? I have heard of mice eating away at wiring coatings or nesting in stored car interiors. I don't want to use D-con or some other poison that might result in dead rodents in the car. Are you aware of anyting that repels rodents from being attracted to a car? Do you know if those electronic high frequency sound emitters work at keeping pests away?
