pre and post-winter oil change

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Carrera 3.2L; Year: 1984; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2L; Total Mileage: 100,160;

I am due for 3000 miles oil change, and it is just prior to storing the car for winter. I do have all information required on how to properly store it away.I have received conflicting advice regarding pre-winter oil change for storage. Is it better to change the oil now, rather than in the spring, or should I do both - that is change the oil now, and change it again in the spring even if the car was stored all winter ? I am always using Quaker State 20W50 oil. Weather in my part of Canada is somewhat similar to Minnesota ?
