preventing intake of debris in radiator intakes

Model: 911 Carrera, Year:2011, Mileage:12,300, Type of use:Street use only
In two long drives in last year, my 997 has collected a variety of debris in the radiator intakes. One fast drive across the Nevada desert on US 6 from Tonopah to Bishop collected three small birds, one on the center scoop and two in the left radiator. The visitor center in Bishop was well aware of the birds which they call 'suicide birds' since they dart about very low to the road surface. No cooling problem even though ambient temp was over 100 and no apparent damage to the radiators other than dings to the cooling fins.Second trip - 3800 miles up through Idaho, MT, Canadian Rockies. No birds, but collected the debris in the attached photos. (well, there is no way to attach - if you want to see them, send me your email address) Again, no damage or cooling problems. Just the hassle of clean-out.Question: these scoops are difficult to vacuum - is there a practical and aesthetic 'bra'? Or some other fix? I looked for a 'trap door' in the under the car ... a practical solution Porsche should design.thanks!Jim MooreheadMendocino, CA
