I have tried quite a few tire and rubber coatings to protect, and make these surfaces look good. These included Armorall, Formula 2001, and other similar products. I have found none of them to be much good for any length of time. Armorall being the worst. I have heard too many stories about how you should never use Armorall, so I don't. Also, many of these wash off if the car should get wet, getting this stuff all over the paint. My car rarely gets wet, but it happenned recently after it was beautifully prepared, and I had a mess on my hands. What do you recommend? I use Lexol on the leather seats, and this seems to be very good.
