Rear Brake Rotors

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1984; Body Type: Convertible; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 40714;

I recently purchased a 1984 911. Prepurchase inspection identified rear brake pads at 25% and advised pad replacement, reported rotors to be fine. After discussing with a certified Porsche shop in Syracuse they will not replace pads with out replacing rotors too. While rotors are not expensive, is this advice correct. My shop has not yet inspected the car.Thank youBill
