Rear Main Seal failure prevention

Vehicle Information: Year: 2004; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2; Total Mileage: 1500; Transmission: Manual;

After reading the entire tech Q & A about real and potential RMS problems in the Boxster, I get the impression that failure at some time is inevitable.I have not come across anything that addresses prevention, so I thought Id ask the question:Are there any proven or theoretical practices that will help prevent RMS failure from occurring, such as not exceeding certain speed or rpm thresholds, preventative maintenance of any kind, or forward trouble shooting or diagnostics that may identify the condition sooner rather than later?Thanks for your reply.
