re:engine misfire when it rains

In response the the question about mis-fire in the rain. I too had a similar problem. I also tried all the things you already suggested to no avail. Then I noticed that the mis-fire went away above 3800 RPM, where apparently the oxygen sensor is not used (full throtte). My problem was ultimately solved by changing the oxygen sensor. The car also ran better in the dry too. I thought I should pass this along in case in might help.
