Removing A/C component parts on 1976 911 S

Heating and Ventilation

Vehicle Information: Model: 911S; Year: 1976; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 123K;

Air conditioning will not be a concern for me in the NW, especially since the 800-1000 miles driven each year are with the top off. I've removed the original a/c vents that mounted below the dash (to give myself more leg room) and would like to do the following. (1) remove the belt that drives the a/c compressor so as to reduce any unnecessary load on the engine. (2) remove the fuse that controls the AC. I plan on leaving both compressor and blower motor in place (just in case a future owner wants the vehicle returned to stock). Is there anything that should be a concern or do I proceed as planned? More? Less? Thank you for the input.
