Ride Height / Alignment

I would like to go through the front and rear alignments on my 1979 911 Turbo, but before doing so, I want to verify that my ride heights are set correctly for a USA version car. I know that the front end has been slightly lowered with the torsion bar adjusters. What are the correct ride heights and where do I measure them from ?Additionally, should I set the front and rear alignments to factory spes for a USA version, or is there a tweek that would result in better handling, but not at the expense of accelerated tire wear?
