RPM limit, and an octane question

Model: 911, Year:1986, Mileage:120000, Type of use:Both Street & Track
Hi. I couldn't really find an answer in the archive.I'm rebuilding/modifing my 3.2 to a 3.4 with the Mahle 9.8:1 CR kit. All new bearings, seals, chains, ramps, etc. 3 angle valve job. Stock valve train with orginal parts. The springs are in spec and slightly shimmed. Other modifications include an enlarged throttle body, extrude honed intake manifold, mildly ported heads, APR rod bolts, WebCam 20/21 cams, SSI's, Dansk 2in2out muffler.I am having a custom chip done. I can have it tuned for 91 or 93 octane. I can get 94 octane in most places I go, except in my home town. The nearest 94 is 60 miles away. How much risk is there if I tune for 93 octane, but occasionally run a tank of 91? If I do so, what driving precautions would be prudent?Given the mods listed above, is a rev limit of 6800 safe? The car see about 50/50 street/track (adv grp DE)Thanks in advance for all the great advice.Mike Nesbitt
