Rust protection for 86 944

Paint

Vehicle Information: Model: 1986; Year: 944; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 120,000;

I have a bare metal area exposed after being hit lightly about the size of your hand and is oxidizing a little bit. After I get the metal straight(springtime)is it worth applying Wurth Rust Guard over the area or some other "Zinc Phosphate" type product to protect the galv. Or is the metal prep, primer, paint steps sufficient? Assuming the repair is done properly and the car stored inside, would you expect the area repired to rust?
