Suspension and Steering

Model: 996, Year:2002, Mileage:30,000, Type of use:Street use only
Joel, about a year and a half ago I contacted you regarding the harsh and uncomfortable ride on my 996 with M030 suspension. You advised installing Bilstien HD shocks. I finally go this done (the car sees only a few miles each year). The tech who did the job felt the shocks that were removed were not in bad condition; however the ride improvement with the new Bilsteins is fantastic. The car handles beautifully, but just as important you can now drive it for several hours very comfortably. Previously you would clench your teeth and brace yourself for every pothole and bump in the road. A drive of more than a couple of hours wasnt a very pleasant experience. You also advised me to keep the M030 springs. I think you were also right on that as well.I thought you might be interested in the feedback on your suggestion. Thanks for your ongoing help.
