Just bought a very nice '73T w/ sporto. Should I replace the bladder that operates the clutch linkage? Seems kind of old to me for German rubber. Where should I look?Next, one of the questions implied that the torque converter for a Type III VW (whatever that is) is the same as the sporto torque converter. Yes?Next: Who rebuilds the torque converters, and is that a good idea?Next: any reason to not autocross a sportomatic? I have a great mechanic, and he can do whatever it takes.Bob, and thanks again.
