Hi Chris,About a year ago I wrote regarding a starting problem. I just had it happen again and I think I know the cause. The starter motor fails to turn after running the car at high speeds for several hours, so I suspect the starter or solenoid is overheating. I saw that Performance Products sell starter relay kits that supposedly solve this. In addition they sell starter heat shields that are supposed to eliminate problems due to the proximity to the exhaust. This has only happened 3 times in the last year + and only after running the car on a freeway for hours, never in around driving. Fortunately I was able to push start it this time. After sitting overnight, no problem. So the question is, replace the starter, the solenoid, the relay or all three. Also, does the heat shield do any good?I saw from the log that some others have a similar problem. Thanks, Bob Bauer
