Steering Wheel Alignment

Vehicle Information: Year: 2004; Engine (type, size, modifications): Stock Boxster S; Total Mileage: 2,400; Transmission: Manual;

The steering wheel on my Boxster S is slightly turned to the left when the car is crusing straight ahead. When I purchased the car new about six weeks ago I requested this be corrected as a condition of the sale. The dealer agreed in writing to correct the alignment of the steering wheel. The dealer's service department is now telling me this is a normal condition and there is nothing wrong with the car. I've owned two other Boxsters and they didn't have this flaw. What would the adjustment be to correct the problem? I was told by a fellow Porsche owner the car probably needs an alignment. To my knowledge the service department has done nothing other than test drive the car.
