Steering Wheel Effort

Model: 911S, Year:1972, Mileage:95000, Type of use:Street use only
The car is totally stock; its steering wheel is four spoke. One of the drivers has arthritis in the thumb & fingers. Is there a larger OEM wheel available that would reuce the steering effort? Can the front suspension be realigned to reduce the steering effort w/o compromising handling?Do some tires offer easier turning while still providing good grip? Thanks for any suggestions.
