Stopping

Engine

Model: 911, Year:1990, Mileage:69,000, Type of use:Street use only
When I start the engine on my 1990 C4, I have noted that I need to let the electrics "cycle" for a few minutes before starting. When I do start, the idle varies between a low of about 400 and a high of 800 - 900.Occasionally, when I do not drive very far and stop, the car does not want to start. It will turn over a few times, but not catch. If I then let it sit for a time, it will start again. It does not happen as much when I have driven a long distance
