The sunroof headliner became detached at the rear, middle and sides of the panel. This occured when opening the sunroof and bunched the fabric in the guide rails. I have successfully removed the sunroof, and the headliner panel and reglued the fabric. I encountered two pieces of felt that may have been between the headliner panel and the guide rails (the sunroof has two similar felt pads still attached) Question 1: Should there be felt pads in the guide rails or on the fabric panel and if so how are they held in place? Question 2: Will unscrewing the forward ends of the guide rails allow them to be lifted enough (1/2"?) to allow the headliner panel to be slid back into place? (With the fabric only attached at the front I was able to extricate the panel without disconnecting the guide rails or the drive motor but it required flexing the panel which would not work with the headliner attached.)
