Targa Top Adjustment

Body and Interior

Vehicle Information: Model: 911C4 Targa; Year: 1991; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): Stock; Total Mileage: 46,000;

A follow-up question. I've adjusted the targa window seal as you described (there are four screws and you need to pull off the rubber seal to get to them; it's not glued, just fits in the channel). That worked. Thanks.My final question (I hope). On the rear of the roof, there are three posts that go into the Targa bar. The two by the windows appear to bear the load. The third post is in the center and it seems to be more of a guide, but mine is a problem. When the roof is placed on, the center post does not properly hit it's female receptacle in the targa bar. It's enough to one side that it causes the rear folding frame piece in the roof to disengage from the full out position. This causes a couple of the clips on the underside of the top to disengage from the folding cross piece which in turn lets the vinyl lift creating wind noise.The rest of the roof seems to fit fine. I can jam the middle post in, but it usually works its way out. Can the outside posts be adjusted thereby moving the middle post to the right spot? Or can the female receptacle be adjusted? It's a separate piece that is screwed into the targa bar but I can't see it without taking down the upholstery.
