This is a follow-up to a question I posted last year regarding Targa wind noise. I had my top re-conditioned by Dan Petchel who did a fabulous job, but when I reintalled the top I still had a wind noise coming from the area above the passenger sun visor. After much taping and trial and error, I found what I couldn't believe was the problem. I isolated the noise to the area where the top, windshield and window meet. I plugged any possible holes but it didn't help. I finally noticed that when compared to the drivers side, a small bit of the very corner of the top fabric was protruding above the windshield. I mean really small, no more than an eight of an inch of the corner. Maybe even less. I simply pushed it down behind the windshield frame and the noise was gone.I was amazed. This tiny bit of fabric was right behind the rain gutter on the A pillar and wind might have been concentrated up that gutter causing the noise. If you have noise in this area check the corner and push down the fabric.
