I am replacing the original throttle cable. I cannot get the new cable to go into the body more that about 18" It hits a firm block like a shoulder in the chassis tube it fits into. I have twosted and poked with no success. I have inserted a solid copper wire about 36" into the hole, so I know it is open. Besides, the old cable came out okay. Is there some trick or suggestion someone can make on how to get the cable to feed into the car?
