Too Much Lumbar Support
Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Carerra; Year: 2007; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 10000;
I have a tempermental lower back and cannot have too much lumbar support. The less amount the better. Is there a way to reduce the lumbar support in my 2007 911? Simply it is too much and is causing me back problems. Before I bought the car I test drove a 4S and did not have an issue with the seats and was not told of the different seats. Then when I picked up my 911 coupe I noticed the difference but figured the seat just needed to be broken in. Anyway I wanted to replace the seat with a recaro seat but apparently there are issues with the recaro not having a thorcaic airbag and my insurance company would not like that. And my salesman told me there is nothing I can do that this seat i have is the most comfortable one Porsche makes. I frankly could care less about the comfort if it meant I could achieve little to no lumbar support. I do not go on long trips with the car so that would not be an issue. Can I remove the lumbar support in the seat? Any help would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I have to get rid of the car. I am not opposed to purchasing another Porsche seat of it will eliminate this problem. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...............
