Trying to identify engine

Model: 911, Year:1967, Mileage:??, Type of use:Street use only
Recently purchased a very rough 911 with no past history available, no wheels, no steering wheel, heavy chassis rust. Serial # for chassis is 307226 which shows in the Porsche Family Tree book as a late 67 911S. Appears correct as has ventilated disc, 7200 rpm redline, no rear sway bar, but ball attachment points on suspension there, however, has long wheel base (89.3") and significant fender flares. Appears to have been heavily modified with whale tail, light weight rear bumper. Front bumper missing. The engine appears to be in the best condition?? Serial # 4080881. I can't seem to find it in the Porsche Family Tree book. Weber carbs, shroud looks like it was red originally painted black (maybe this is wishful thinking). Interior looks European with cloth inlays in the seats. Any idea on what this engine is from?
