Porsche recommends a 90K manual trans oil change using Shell Transaxle Oil 75W90 [apparently the Porsche OEM]. The closest I can find to this is Fuchs Titan Sintopoid 75W90 from Pelican Auto Parts, as Shell is not available in quarts. This is a synthetic oil. Is the Porsche OEM also a synthetic? Every supplier seems to be pushing Redline and Swepco [Synthetics?]: are they equal or any better? I know switching oils in well-used transmissions can cause big problems [personal experience in a Ferrari], particularly standard oil to synthetic.
