Unidentified Bulb wire behind dash

I need help figuring out the purpose of a loose wire inside the dash behind the cigarette lighter on my 98 cab. My cigarette lighter is not working so i pulled it out to test the wiring. upon removal, i noticed the wire harness was not connected to it. therefore, i dug around the cigarette hole for the harness only to find what appears to be loose instrument bulb wire (brown and Blue/white stripe wires) with a small light bulb at the end of it. It lights up when the headlight switch is turned on (in both parking light mode and full headlight mode). Any idea what this wire is doing back there and what instrument/switch it relates to? it's not related to the fog light or mirror defroster switchs.
