Chris,Re my post- "after rebuild, max oil pressure at approx 2.3."Relief!! Thank you Chris for trouble shooting & providing directions/procedures on isolating my low oil pressure issue. As you had suggested- I disconnected the sending unit & turned the key to the ON position. The gauge did pin to max- therefore eliminating the possibility of a faulty gauge. The second thing that we had discussed was to either get an actual oil pressure reading or replace sending unit. I chose to replace the sending unit (911 606 135 00). I fired it up- the gauge immediately jumped up to 4+! I let the car warm up a bit, drove it & everything looks fine, ranging up from idle at 1+ (not fully warmed up) to 4+ on the drive. Also, thank you for the easy procedure for removal of the unit. Again, I'm very grateful for your much valued advice & time. Alex
