Model: 911, Year:2005, Mileage:18500, Type of use:Both Street & Track
I recently purchased a certified 2005 997 C2S with 16k miles. The warranty is good until Aug., 2013 or to 50k miles. I was told that if I wanted to purchase additional warranty (through the dealer) that I should do it before I hit 20k miles or the price goes up. When I started asking around about whether this was worth the cost I was told it depends on whether or not you have the new or old ISM bearing. I do not drive the car daily but do drive it regularly including plans to participate in light autocross and DE events at the track. Any suggestions?
