Water Problem

Interior

Vehicle Information: Model: 964 turbo 3.6; Year: 1994; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 9,800;

I have had to leave my car outside for several weeks and it is always covered. After a rain or a wash, a fair amount of water drains onto the carpet in the trunk when the hood is raised. The water gathers in the channel or "ribbing" on the underside of the hood and when raised, water drains out of the factory holes that are in the ribbing. Water drains from the "front" holes in the ribbing near the emblem bolts on the underside of the hood and from the "rear" holes, especially passenger side, near the windshield. The weather stripping is intact and appears to be in good condition. Is it possible for water to penetrate the emblem itself (maybe through a faulty gasket)? Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.
