I am trying to find a definitive answer to a waxing issue. Some say that carnuba is the only way to go on Porsche paint finishes to prevent sealing, to allow paint to breathe and to prevent clouding. Also, some would say repainting is very difficult once polymers have been used. Others say that is myth and that certain polymers work fine and do not harm the German paints. I have used Mequiar's NXT with fantastic results, but every time I rewax I hear echoes of the naysayers. I have talked to body shops, Porsche web sites and boards, paint manufacturers and STILL haven't a definitive answer. Obviously you like P21S. What do you think of polymers, and NXT specifically?
