Weber 40 IDA

Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1972; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4; Total Mileage: 36000;

I have Weber 40 IDA''s on my 1972 911. The car has been in storage. I have drained the tank and cleaned the lines. The car fires right up and runs wonderful under throttle, but there is spitting in the midrange and a little bit even at idle. It appears the throttle shafts are a tiny bit loose as well. Should I try to adjust? Perhaps my best bet is to have the carbs rebuilt. Can you recommend any shops? Thanks for any advise.Ken
