I recently brought my car to the dealer for a tire change and alignment and they told me the wheel bearing was shot (left rear). You mentioned in a previous response that you've seen some go bad. What's up with that? I'm a first-time owner, and I'm starting to worry about owning this car past the warranty. I've already had two rear main seals replaced, and they told me today (still waiting for the bearing to arrive) that they'll need to replace the track bars as well. It's all been free so far, but are these sorts of problems common? I suspect they're not cheap to fix when you're paying for them. Has Porsche said anything to the effect that there was a "bad batch of parts," or is this considered normal wear and tear? I've been to the track about 2 times a year, but otherwise, the car is driven on (overly congested) NJ and NY highways.
