Window regulator issue

Hi all,

I recently had my passenger side window regulator replaced. I usually do most of the work on my car by myself, but once I took off the door panel I decided to take it to my local indie mechanic lol. The movement and everything seems fine, but the window doesnt go all the way down or all the way up. When it's all the way down about 1/4 of an inch sticks out and when it's up it's a bit low also. Noticed at highway speeds air is getting through. I tried reprogramming the windows to see if that did anything but it didn't. When I spoke to the mechanic about it he said he placed the window all the way down on the regulator clamps, but I think that's wrong. I would have marked where the window was sitting on the old regulator before replacing it. So my question is, do I have to take the whole thing apart and adjust the window on the regulator again or is there an easier way? Thanks in advance
