Winter is around the corner in my neck of the woods (Iowa) I do not plan on driving my 993 C4 Cab during these cold months. What steps should I take to ensure the car stays healthy during its hibernation? A friend of mine suggests that I should run the car at least once per month for 20-30 minutes or at least until the engine becomes hot in order to burn off condensation inside the engine. Is this correct? Also, what other systems on the car might need care during this down time?
