Wiring - Brake Master Cylinder

Electrical

Vehicle Information: Model: 912 Coupe; Year: 1968; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 1750cc (big bore kit), Webers; Total Mileage: 137,000 (that I know of);

My original question, answered 5/4/2007: "I have two wires, brown with white stripe, running to the brake master cylinder (neither connected/no connectors, wires 'stuffed' into dust boot); the master cylinder has a switch installed with only one electrical connection lug. I have been unable to locate this on a 911 or 912 wiring diagram. What is the purpose of these wires and what do I need to do to correct this situation?"My brake lights function through a contact switch mounted in the pedal cluster, actuated by depressing the brake pedal. Is this OEM or a 'creative' (to put it nicely) solution?
