Wrong tail?

Body and Interior

Dear PCA,When I bought my 1988 911 Targa a half-dozen years ago, it came to me with a front spoiler and a rear tail. The latter which has Prosche script on it appears to be a turbo tail, but it appears to be on a non-turbo deck lid (viz., without the square box-like structure to integrate with the turbo intake). So heres my question: is there any chance that the factory put this tail on my car (although the strengthened hinge-work in the engine compartment doesnt have a factory look), since the deck lid appears to be a Carrera lid? Or is this indeed the wrong tail for my car? How could Porsche have produced a turbo tail on a non-turbo deck lid? Thanks, Michael R. Dove
