My name is Jonathan but all my friends call me Bear. I’m lucky my parents have Porsches in our garage. But I’m even luckier that so many Porsche people are our friends like most of you.

Since October my friend Landon Brown and I have worked to help the children at BC Children’s Hospital. We learned that the kids felt isolated because COVID-19 caused severe restrictions on visitors. Our goal was for them to always feel loved.

Everyone loves toys! But iPads and tablets are really important because they can help kids stay connected with their family and friends and they can watch movies and play games on them.

Todd Coupal from Porsche Club of America Canada West learned this with us because he joined our first call with BC Children’s Hospital. With the generous help of Porsche Vancouver’s team, Porsche Club just had an awesome toy and tablet drop this past weekend.

A few hours ago, right after school today, we took a Cayenne packed full of awesome toys and tablets to BC Children’s Hospital! Joel and Todd also brought a giant check!

Thank you for reading my letter. I just wanted you all to know that it takes a community to help a community and we are very grateful to everyone from the Porsche community for all your help.

You’ll be pleased to know that we received 159 iPads/tablets and over 1,000 toy items along with $13,000 worth of donations for the BC Children’s Hospital thanks to all our donors combined. Thank you very much everyone!
